Who we are
Welcome to Codename Collectables—where nostalgia runs deep, and the hunt for legendary treasures never ends!
This mission started long before the shop—back when my parents, Rob (Bob) and Faye, taught me the true power of preserving our toys. In our house, everything from board games to action figures was sacred. Some were even off-limits unless Mum and Dad were around—because let’s face it, one wrong move and a prized figure could be lost to time!
Growing up, my siblings and I had something from every epic 80s toy line—Transformers, TMNT, Care Bears, Basketball Cards, you name it! With my parents leading the charge, we scoured garage sales, flipped through newspaper ads, and embarked on countless toy-hunting quests. Looking back, I realize they made so many sacrifices to give us the best childhood and the coolest collectibles to cherish.
Fast forward 35 years, and all those 80s and 90s treasures had been safely stored away at my parents’ place. Then came Christmas 2024—when they started clearing out their house and delivering boxes of our childhood relics. That’s when inspiration struck: why not build a massive toy display room? My wife thought it was a great idea… but apparently, we don’t have enough space. (C’mon, how could we not make room for more awesome toys?!)
So, I thought bigger—why not create a space for collectors everywhere? A place where fans could reignite their passion, track down missing pieces, and share in the thrill of the hunt. And just like that, Codename Collectables was born! Whether you’re looking to complete a collection, upgrade a favourite figure, or even sell your own treasures, you’re in the right place.
We’re just getting started, and there’s plenty more to come. So, take your time, explore the collection, and check back often—there’s always more nostalgia to uncover. It’ll take time to catalogue everything, but one thing’s for sure…
